Join the Champagne Goddess on a sensory and culinary adventure to Tasmania in November 2020.

After the stress and confinement of the Covid-19 isolation, let’s take our tastebuds and our sparkling wine cravings to Australia’s Fair Isle: Tasmania. Join the Champagne Goddess for 3, 4 or 5 nights from Launceston to Hobart over a long weekend…

Commencing in Launceston on Friday 6th November with a welcome reception with multiple award-winning winemaker Natalie Fryar of Bellebonne Wines; and venturing out to the Tamar Valley including Pipers Creek and Lebrina to visit Dr Andrew Pirie at Apogee; Shane and Fran Holloway at Delamere Vineyards, we’ll stop for lunch at one of the numerous (famous) cellar doors of top Tassie sparkling wineries such as Jansz, Clover Hill and Josef Chromy.

Staying in elegant accommodation, we’ll ensure we fit-in a visit to the incredible Farmer’s Markets on Saturday morning, a coffee (or glass of bubbles) at the legendary Stillwater Restaurant, and some tapas culinary delights at any of the myriad restaurants in Launceston.

With an option to start earlier, and/or continue on to Hobart, there can be additional sparkling wine tastings with Bay of Fires Wines; and further south, with Stephen and Monique Lubiana. Don’t forget cheese samplings at Coal River and with Bruny Island’s inimitable Nick Haddow; we will eventually land in one of Hobart’s enchanting Hotels along the waterfront for Sunday and Monday nights.

You won’t want to miss this experiential experience of the year.

All that time you’ve spent in Isolation, all that sitting at home dreaming of arguably the freshest produce and finest sparkling wines this country can offer… You have definitely earned this trip!  NOW is your chance to bring it to you!
