Champagne Collective inspect every single bottle and have taken the utmost care to select the best ones to upcycle.
Because we use recycled, previously used real champagne bottles, some of the labels may have minor imperfections.
This doesn’t affect the functionality of the product and adds to the authenticity and charm!
All bottles are hand-cut and polished and therefore may have minor imperfections.
Because we are using natural ingredients and products, naturally, there might also be **small imperfections in the wax.
It should not not affect the candles
Champagne bottles have a raised indentation at the bottom called a punt.
The wooden wicks are attached to the top of the punt.
Once your candle has burned down, there will be wax left due to the structure of the bottle.
How to remove excess wax to reuse the glass:
To remove excess wax, place the candle in the sink and pour boiling water into the container and let it soak, being careful not to get the label wet.
After a few hours, the wax will float to the top and solidify. Remove the wax and wipe out any remaining residue in the container.

What are the candles scents/ fragrances?
There are 2 bespoke fragrances:
1. “Premium Champagne” scent has citrus top notes, middle notes of champagne and earthy base notes.
It was created exclusively and has a clean, effervescent feeling to evoke memories of a special celebration or moment.
2.”Champagne & Strawberries” scent is used for our pink label/rosé candles (Like Bollinger Rose)
It features raspberry and leafy green top notes, champagne and strawberry middle notes and vanilla base notes.

What kind of wax do you use?
An all-natural custom soy/coconut wax blend specifically designed for candlemaking. This blend is non-toxic and burns cleaner and longer than paraffin. Because it is 100% natural, it is environmentally friendly.
**Why does the surface of the candle have some imperfections?
Because we are use a completely natural wax, some minor imperfections may occur. When the wax is melted, it releases air, which sometimes causes tiny bubbles. We heat the tops of the candles once they are set to ensure a smooth surface, but in some cases, small imperfections may occur which don’t affect the candle in any way. This is completely normal and simply a characteristic of the wax.
What kind of wicks do you use?
Our wicks are made from natural wood that provide a longer, cleaner burn with no carbon build-up. They create a unique soft crackling sound reminiscent of a log fire when burned. Note: Always pinch or clip off any black residue from the wick before re-lighting.
What is the burn time for the candle?
Our standard upcycled champagne bottle candle has an approximate burn time of 40 hours.
